PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery and an electric double layer capacitor in which the substrate-like space can be reduced by integrating a connecting terminal with a storing container and installing it to the bottom of the container, and which can respond to reflow soldering by being constituted by a heat resistant member. SOLUTION: A metal layer consisting of a metal ring and wax material with heat expansion coefficients which are close is provided in a recessed shape container edge of the nonaqueous electrolyte battery and the electric double layer capacitor to solve the problems described above. Furthermore, an opening sealing plate is metal with a characteristic which is close to the metal ring, and a wax material layer is used for an adhering surface. Then, a pair of electrodes consisting of a positive pole and a negative pole, a separator, the electrolyte are contained in the recessed container, the opening sealing plate is placed on the top, and seam soldering is carried out using resistant soldering.
