PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a torque shock when operating a variable intake valve without increasing the number of part items. SOLUTION: When operating to an opening state from a closing state of the variable intake valve 20, an electronic control throttle valve 15 is controlled by target throttle opening th after a correction of correcting the target throttle opening th by a target throttle opening correction quantity ttgv, and when starting operation to the opening state from the closing state of the variable intake valve 20, the target throttle opening correction quantity ttgv is set to a correction quantity initial value ttgvf calculated on the basis of a detected engine speed ne, accelerator pedal opening or throttle opening.
