PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable production method of a hollow fiber membrane module which does not cause any quality problems such as impassable fiber and impermeability in the potting and is lower in a percent defective of leakage with respect to production of a hollow fiber membrane module made of a symmetrical membrane. SOLUTION: In the production method of the hollow fiber membrane module prepared by sealing the end parts of a cylindrical case inserted with a hollow fiber membrane of which the structure is symmetrical, the initial viscosity of a hardening resin used for sealing the end parts is 500-2,000 mPa s.
