VOLTAGE CONVERTER, VOLTAGE CONVERTING METHOD, POWER SUPPLYING METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDING PROGRAM FOR EXECUTING POWER SUPPLY CONTROL ON COMPUTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter supplying power to an electric load such that an overcurrent does not flow through a circuit element performing booster operation even if the voltage command value of output voltage is increased abruptly.

SOLUTION: A controller 30 operates the request power of an AC motor M1 and the charging power of a capacitor C2. When the sum of the request power and the charging power exceeds the maximum supply power of a booster converter 12, the controller 30 generates a signal PWMI2 for driving the AC motor M1 to have a zero torque and controls the booster converter 12 to supply the maximum power by delivering the signal PWMI2 to an inverter 14.
