AIR BAG DOOR INTEGRAL TYPE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag door integral type instrument panel capable of ensuring stable quality of appearance of an air bag door and ensuring satisfactory air bag deployment performance and to provide its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: This air bag door integral type instrument panel 1 is constituted in such a way that an opening part in which an air bag inflates is formed by closing it and a tear line 4 which is made thin by an opening tear channel by inflation pressure when the air bag operates and forms a to-be-opening part and the air bag door 10 deploying using a hinge part as a rotary shaft at both ends of the opening tear channel as a boundary are integrally formed. A bracket 7 is provided so as to surround around the opening part to regulate deformation of a case. A pair of auxiliary brackets 3 are provided for at least one door to oppose across a long side of the air bag door 10 in order to fix a position of the air bag door 10 in this air bag door integral type instrument panel 1.
