<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a license charging system and license charging method for performing a charging for use of components according to the number of the components actually used by an application. <P>SOLUTION: A component seller 10 registers a component, component information and seller information to a license charging server 100. An application seller 20 acquires the registered component information, purchases the license of the component to be used in the application, and also acquires the license from the license charging server 100.
