<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion monitoring device in a waste heat collection boiler capable of adequately monitoring a corroded state of a heat exchange pipe irrespective of a relatively simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The corrosion monitoring device in a waste heat collection boiler is disposed in a waste gas flow passage to monitor a corroded state of a heat exchange pipe in the waste heat collection boiler in which the heat exchange pipe for a heat exchanger is exposed to waste gas produced from a waste treatment furnace to heat fluid passing through the heat exchange pipe. The monitoring device 8 comprises a monitor body 9 formed of the same material as that of the heat exchange pipe, and a cooling means C to cool the monitor body 9, and has a temperature sensor 16 to detect the temperature of the monitor body 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
