<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for layering an optical element comprising a liquid crystal substance layer having no supporting substrate film. <P>SOLUTION: The optical layered body is manufactured in the following processes. They are: a first process of adhering a liquid crystal substance layer 1 having alignment of the liquid crystal fixed and being formed on an alignment substrate to a removable substrate 1 via an adhesive layer 1, stripping the alignment substrate to transfer the liquid crystal substance layer 1 onto the removable substrate 1, adhering the liquid crystal substance layer 1 and a removable substrate 1' via an adhesive layer 1', and stripping the removable substrate 1 to transfer the layers onto the removable substrate 1' to obtain a layered body (A) consisting of the adhesive layer 1/liquid crystal substance layer 1/adhesive layer 1'/removable substrate 1'; a second process of laminating a liquid crystal substance layer 1 having alignment of the liquid crystal fixed and being formed on an alignment substrate on the adhesive layer 1 of the layered body (A) via a self-adhesive (adhesive) layer to obtain a layered body consisting of the removable substrate 1'/adhesive layer 1'/liquid crystal substance layer 1/adhesive layer 1/self-adhesive (adhesive) layer/liquid crystal substance layer 2/alignment substrate; and a third process of stripping the removable substrate 1' and the alignment substrate of the above layered body and laminating a polarizing plate on the adhesive layer 1' or the liquid crystal substrate layer 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
