PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system in which a map is efficiently displayed. SOLUTION: A server device 400, which recognizes present positional information, destination information and a moving path search request from a terminal device 300, searches for a moving path using the matching data of map information. Then, the device 400 transmits matching mesh information including nodes and links representing the roads corresponding to the moving path, display mesh information of the region other than the region of the matching information and moving path information to the device 300 through the network 200. The device 300 displays the roads on a terminal display section based on the matching mesh information, and items other than the roads are displayed based on the display mesh information.
