PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for evaluating the stability of a human body using PPG. SOLUTION: This method for evaluating the stability of a human body using PPG includes: (a) a step of defining at least one PPG parameter; (b) a step of applying light having one or more wavelengths reacting with a blood component to be measured to a body to be measured, and measuring a PPG signal from the body to be measured during a unit time; and (c) a step of evaluating the stability of the human body using stress index obtained using PPG parameters defined in the step (a).
