PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a broadcast receiver that a user can view and hear a program without missing it, even if a condition difficult to view and hear the program suddenly occurs due to some external causes. SOLUTION: The receiver has a receiving part 12 for receiving broadcast programs, a recorder part 17 for recording the received programs to read them, a display part 13 for indicating the received program or the recorded program, a detector part 14 for detecting the receiving condition of the received program, and a write control part for recording a broadcast program being received on the recorder part 17 when a signal showing the receiving condition exceeds a reference value after comparing the signal showing the receiving condition from the detector part 14 with the reference value corresponding to a predetermined receiving condition.
