PROTECTION METHOD FOR HYDROPHILIC SURFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection method for a hydrophilic surface capable of preventing the hydrophilic surface from being polluted with a water-repelling material. SOLUTION: In the protection method for the hydrophilic surface 2 which is formed on a surface of a substrate 1, the hydrophilic surface 2 is covered with a surface protection material 4 which is fixed with a starch paste adhesive 7 coated on surroundings of the surface of the substrate 1. The surface protection material 4 is able to shield and prevent the hydrophilic surface 2 from being polluted with the water-repelling material and the starch paste adhesive 7 is able to prevent the surface protection material 4 from the water repelling material invading into the back of the surface protection material 4 from surroundings.
