Sliding interior roof panels for vehicle with sides held in guide rails and with guide blocks to control stacking

A sliding interior roof for a vehicle has panels positioned under a sunshine roof and slid back into a stacked position under the fixed roof. Each panel (9, 10) is supported between side flanges (12, 13) which are set in side guides and which are fitted with guide blocks (24, 25) which guide the panels into the stacking position and secure the stacked position. The adjacent ands of the flanges are shaped to interlock when the roof panels are deployed and to slide over each other in the stacking position. The side flanges are secured to the panels via fitting tags (15).
