<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitor system wherein power of a communication unit for transmitting operating state information to a base station is turned off during the running stop of a mobile body and the base station can recognize the stop state of the mobile body through the turning-off of the power of the communication unit. <P>SOLUTION: The system is provided with a first power line for supplying power from a power supply 31 of an outboard motor 1 to the communication unit 28 via a switch 32 and a control unit 29, and a second power line for directly supplying power from the power supply 31 to the communication unit 28. A relay 284 holds the connection state of the second power line and the holding state is released when the switch 32 is opened and communication during execution is finished. The base station is accessed from the mobile body only, which transmits its operating state information to the base station. The interval of accesses to the base station 30 is scheduled and when no access is made to the base station 30 at the scheduled interval, the base station 30 discriminates that the mobile body interrupts the power, that is, the mobile body stops its running. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
