<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with a simple structure and an image forming method capable of suppressing variations in colors of a reproduced image. <P>SOLUTION: Since a corrected LUT (look-up table) resulting from correcting an LUT is generated on the basis of the density of an exposed part 82 and an unexposed area of a photo film 68 and gradation conversion processing is applied to an image, the necessity of arrangement of a sophisticated exposing function for performing the exposure whose exposure amount varies for several steps to a development apparatus 200 is eliminated and the gradation conversion processing with variations in the performance of the photo film 68 taken into consideration can be performed with a simple structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
