<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal spraying method and thermal spraying gun device capable of affording a thermal sprayed film of a specified thickness on a surface to be thermal sprayed of a cylindrical surface of a treated object, such as a cylinder block. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal spraying method of forming the film by jetting the successively supplied droplets formed by melting a material for thermal spraying to a bore inside surface 1a from a tip member 53 of the thermal spraying gun device 3 in the state of rotating the tip member 53 comprises rotating the tip member 53 around a main unit section of the thermal spraying gun device 3 and rotating the main unit section with respect to a substrate, thereby applying thermal spraying while rotating the main unit section 70 together with the tip member 53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
