<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing compost by which water-soluble odor produced in composting an organic material such as domestic animal dung or garbage is inexpensively removed and the compost having much fertilizer matter and high fertilizer value is obtained. <P>SOLUTION: As a method of treating organic waste such as domestic animal dung or garbage comprises, the method of composting the organic waste such as domestic animal dung or the garbage is disclosed which comprises: circulating a liquid in which the water-soluble gas produced in a composting apparatus 2 is dissolved to a fermenter 8; culturing photosynthetic organism in liquid under the irradiation with light and absorbing and assimilating the water-soluble gas into the photosynthetic organism; and adding the propagated photosynthetic organism into the compost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
