<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber transmission apparatus capable of preventing the damage accompanying temperature rise by preventing propagation of erroneous light to a clad layer, a support layer, etc., even when the erroneous light is made incident on an optical fiber. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with a sleeve 41 wherein the output end of the optical fiber 200 is inserted, which fixes the output end of the optical fiber 200, and which is provided with the holding mount 43 of a recessed shape opened to the other end side, and an optical element 50 attached to the holding mount 43.
