PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification tag that can clearly display, in the case of a pet, an owner's name, a pet's name and a telephone number so that the owner can be immediately notified, and also to provide a nameplate that serves as a wristwatch and that, in the case of a loitering elderly person, he or she can securely show to others. SOLUTION: The identification tag and the nameplate refer to a plate that displays, in a easy-to-see manner, a pet's name, an owner's name, and an address of a person to contact. The plate, as carved letter by letter, is not readily erasable. It has no problem in view of safety. It uses snap fasteners so as to be easily attached/detached. As a result, this serves as a means for a third party who discovers any lost private property to immediately make contact with the person indicated therein when a stray pet is seen or noticed, as are a wandering elderly person or anyone necessarily wearing the nameplate.
