UNDERWATER CONTINUOUS CORE BORING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater continuous core boring method allowing safe and efficient continuous underwater boring work. SOLUTION: A rail unit 12 is fixed to the upper face of an object to be bored. Using a ruler member 16 with an arm member 16a turned in the lengthwise direction, the side face of a head boring machine 3 in a proceeding direction is allowed to abut on the tip of the arm member 16a to position a plurality of boring machines 3 on the rail unit 12. The plurality of boring machines 3 are operated to bore holes in the prescribed positions of the object 1 to be bored. The arm member 16a provided at the ruler member 16 is then rotated vertically upward and fixed, and the plurality of boring machines 3 are horizontally moved in sequence in the lengthwise direction of the rail unit 12 until the head boring machine 3 in the proceeding direction abuts on the side face of the ruler member 16. The boring machines 3 are installed in the prescribed positions to be bored next, and the boring machines 3 are operated to bore holes in the prescribed positions of the object to be bored.
