PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for a polarizing film, which can sufficiently prevent the occurrence of peeling, bubbling, and formation of white spots, and is excellent in capabilities of being reworked and recycled. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition contains an acrylic copolymer (A), a polyisocyanate compound (B) and a silane coupling agent (C) containing an alicyclic epoxy group, the contents of the compound (B) and the coupling agent (C) respectively being specified amounts based on the content of the copolymer (A). The acrylic copolymer (A) contains 0.1-1 wt.% repeating units having a carboxy group and 0.01-0.5 wt.% repeating units having a hydroxy group, and has a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of 800,000 or higher and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of -40°C or lower.
