<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system by which a desired correction result is easily obtained, in image correction. <P>SOLUTION: Nine sample images 37a-37i are displayed in a matrix of 3 columns by 3 rows, on a correction value specifying screen 36. Brightness is set as a correction item on a vertical axis (Y), while sharpness is set on a horizontal axis (X). A combination of correction values of each correction item is applied to each of the sample images 37a-37i, that show respective correction results.
