<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing an optical recording medium which accurately transports a disk type base material in a manufacturing process and enables the occupancy area of the material to reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing an optical recording medium is provided with: a notch forming machine 3 arranged at a notch forming position 2; a punching machine 4 arranged at a center hole forming position P3; a transporting mechanism 9 having a stage 61 for transportation which can place a disk type base material D1 an having a rotation mechanism 62 transporting the disk type base material D1 by rotating the stage 61 for transportation; and a control part controlling operation of the notch forming machine 3 and of the punching machine 4, and after the control part makes the notch forming machine 3 form notch in a resin layer, the control part makes the rotation mechanism 62 of the transporting mechanism 9 transport the disk type base material D1 in which forming of notch is finished to the center hole forming position P3 by rotating the stage 61 for transportation, and makes the punching machine 4 punch the center hole and form it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
