PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen opening/closing device which can change the position of a rotating shaft with respect to a bearing member of a take-up roll, and improves the mounting performance of the take-up roll on the rotating shaft. SOLUTION: According to the structure of an electric roll screen device 10, the take-up roll 16 is mounted on the rotating shaft 15 protruding from a motor housing 13 attached to a frame rail 12, via the bearing member 18. In the bearing member 18, a plate portion 18i having a through hole 18c formed therein and an outer plate portion 18g having an opening 18d formed therein are spaced away from each other. The rotating shaft 15 having a washer 19 and a conical coil spring 11 fitted thereon is inserted into the through hole 18c. The rotating shaft 15 is loosely restricted by the through hole 18c and therefore it can arbitrarily change its position, to thereby ease stress applied thereto by the through hole 18c. Further the rotating shaft 15 can be diagonally inserted into the through hole 18c and therefore axial stress is absorbed by the conical coil spring 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
