THERMOSETTING POLYURETHANE RESIN AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermosetting polyurethane resin excellent in heat resistance and light resistance and to provide its manufacturing method and a shaped article thereof. SOLUTION: The thermosetting polyurethane resin is obtained by reacting a polyisocyanate compound comprising a polycyclic aliphatic polyisocyanate compound and a polyfunctional material obtained from an aliphatic polyisocyanate compound in a specific ratio with an active-hydrogen compound having substantially no active hydrogens on an atom other than oxygen. The thermosetting polyurethane resin retains excellent heat resistance and light resistance for a long term with no stabilizers added or with a reduced stabilizer content. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
