PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of switching an input terminal capable of automatically changing the connection of one or one set of input terminals to any of a plurality of personal computers without imposing any operation to switch the input terminal on a user (operator). SOLUTION: A keyboard 4 and a mouse 5 are connected to a common input terminal A0 of a switching control part 1, a first personal computer 2 is connected to a first terminal A1, a second personal computer 3 is connected to a second terminal A2, a first infrared photodetector part 6 is connected to a third terminal A3, and a second infrared photodetector part 7 is connected to the fourth terminal A4. The first and second infrared photodetector parts 6 and 7 are respectively set in the vicinity of the first and second personal computers 2 and 3, and an infrared emitting part 10 for selectively projecting an infrared ray to those personal computers is mounted on the head 8 of an operator. The head is directed to a personal computer screen so that the infrared ray can be received by one of the first and second infrared photodetector parts 6 and 7, and the keyboard 4 and the mouse 5 are connected to the personal computer corresponding to the infrared photodetector part which has received the infrared ray.
