PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting the heights of electrodes on the fixed sides in a twin gun where the unevenness of the heights of the tips of both fixed electrodes is corrected by the rotation of the wrists of a robot, so that the tips of respective fixed electrodes are simultaneously abutted on the object to be welded on welding operation, and the application of unnatural force to the object to be welded is prevented. SOLUTION: In the method of correcting the heights of electrodes on the fixed sides in a twin gun, the difference in the heights of the tips of both fixed electrodes 10a and 10b (L1-L2) is measured, and, based on the measured value, the wrists of a robot are rotated, so that the tip parts of both the fixed electrodes to the object 17 to be welded are made uniform, and the tips of the respective fixed electrodes are simultaneously abutted on the object to be welded on welding operation.
