<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an SAR value and to enhance antenna gain by distributing radiation power at least via almost the entire surface of one main surface of an upper casing. <P>SOLUTION: In this portable remote terminal, a front side 15 of the upper casing 2 consists of a conductive member such as a metallic material and is used as a grounded area of an inverted F antenna 13 to be built in the upper casing 2. Then, a grounding terminal of the inverted F antenna 13 is electrically connected with the front side 15 of the upper casing 2 and the radiation power is distributed to almost the entire surface of the front side 15 of the upper casing 2. Thus, the SAR value is reduced, attenuation of quantity of the radiation power to be emitted into the air is reduced and the antenna gain at a telephone call state is especially enhanced in the portable remote terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
