摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system for a vehicle capable minimizing the lowering of charging efficiency and the resultant lowering of fuel economy even if defects such as cable breakage or short-circuit occur and capable of preventing the lowering of the performance and service life of a power supply. <P>SOLUTION: This power supply system 10 for the vehicle comprises a bidirectional DC/DC converter 70 and two different batteries 12 and 14 connected to each other through the bidirectional DC/DC converter 70. The output voltage of the bidirectional DC/DC converter 70 is determined based on an output voltage indication signal supplied from the outside. When the voltage level of the output voltage indication signal becomes zero, the output voltage of the bidirectional DC/DC converter 70 varies depending upon a difference in the power supply direction of the bidirectional DC/DC converter 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p>
