<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information medium realizing compatibility between the recording or reproduction using a laser beam of 350 to 500 nm wavelength and the recording or reproduction using a laser beam of 750 to 850 nm wavelength. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information medium has: a layer capable of reproducing information at least by the irradiation of the laser beam of 750 to 850 nm wavelength; an intermediate layer; a layer capable of reproducing the information at least by the irradiation of the laser beam of 350 to 500 nm wavelength; and a cover layer on a substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
