<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical tool holder mounted on a surgical tray connected to a surgical console. <P>SOLUTION: This tool holder has a pair of opposite spring-loaded gripper arms. Although the gripper arms are separated by application of force, the arms rotate to a closed position when no force is applied. In the closed position, the opposing gripper arms and a small, curved-shaped gap between the gripper arms allows the tool holder to accommodate a wide variety diameters of hand pieces or tool. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
