PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet telephone system capable of enhancing the degree of freedom of a place where a user exists by associating an Internet telephone with an existing extension terminal. SOLUTION: When a private branch exchange (PBX) 1 is notified of information about an originating manipulation such as dialing of a receiver's number from a keyboard 24 connected with a personal computer 2, judges whether an origination request is outputted from the personal computer 2 or a first terminal 41 and when the originating request is outputted from the personal computer 2, performs number analysis processing of the personal computer 2 which is an originator. The PBX 1 judges the presence or absence of terminal information associating with an origination requesting terminal and when there is the terminal information, performs connection with the associating terminal, processes the origination request and connect with the counterpart terminal.
