PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine with further increase in sales. SOLUTION: A cigarette storage part 2 and a drink storage part 3 are provided in a casing 1 having money input ports 61 and 62. When an optional commodity selection button 5 is pressed, and the total amount of the inputted money is determined to be the price of the commodity or more, feeding means 7 and 8 are operated to feed the commodity to commodity outlet ports 101 and 102. The drink storage part 3 has temperature adjusting means 34 and 35 for cooling or heating a drink to a predetermined temperature, a heat insulation part 100 is provided between the cigarette storage part 2 and the drink storage part 3. When a determination means determines whether or not the commodity selection button 5 for the drink D is pressed within a predetermined time after the purchase of cigarette T, or the commodity selection button 5 for the cigarette T is pressed within a predetermined time after the purchase of the drink D, and the determination result is positive, an updating means discounts and updates the price of the commodity.
