PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support device capable of easily extracting proper design information from existing design information in a short time, and effectively using design information of an existing solar power generation device. SOLUTION: This device comprises a layout information acquisition part 11 for acquiring layout information including shape information and positional information of each solar battery module; a retrieval key creation part 12 for creating a retrieval key on the basis of the acquired layout information; a database part 15 for accumulating, with respect to an already designed solar power generation device, the retrieval key and design information including layout information related to this solar power generation device in association with each other; a retrieval part 14 for retrieving the database part 15 by use of the retrieval key formed by the retrieval key formation part 12; and a display part 3 for displaying the retrieval result.
