PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating deodorizing sheet which insulates heat and a bad smell from a manhole of sewage works embedded under a road surface, allows rainwater etc. to flow therein without any operations throughout the year, can be superposed by folding, is positive in performance, excellent in durability, simple in structure, and low in costs. SOLUTION: The heat insulating deodorizing sheet is formed of a thin, soft, and hermetical sheet, and consists of a ring mounting portion 11, an inverted conical or pyramidal body portion 12 extending downward from the mounting portion 11, and a valve portion 13 extending downward from a lower tip of the body portion 12. The mounting portion 11 is fixed between a cover 4 of the manhole 1 and a brace frame 3, the valve portion 13 is formed by doubling the sheet to engage both side portions with each other, and the upper and lower portions are made open.
