PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition aqueous emulsion exerting excellent adhesiveness and storage stability when used in an adhesive between a polyolefin base material and other materials, etc. SOLUTION: This resin composition aqueous emulsion is an aqueous emulsion in which particles containing a hydrogenated derivative of a conjugated diene polymer containing a hydroxy group and a polymer of a radical-polymerizable monomer are dispersed in a water medium, and manufactured by a method including the following processes (1)-(3). In the process (1), the hydrogenated derivative of a conjugated diene polymer containing a hydroxy group is dissolved or suspended in the radical-polymerizable monomer, and mixed in the presence of an emulsifier and water, in the process (2), the mixed liquid obtained in the previous process is emulsified by mechanical mixing, and in the process (3), the radical-polymerizable monomer in the emulsion is polymerized after emulsification.
