PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic simultaneously meeting good feeling in use such as nongreasiness and high spreadability and saving labor such as makeup trimming owing to being capable of forming firm film. SOLUTION: The cosmetic contains a waxy organopolysiloxane having long-chain alkyl group or heteroatom-containing long-chain organic group. The waxy organosiloxane has the following properties: In the endotherm curve at the 2nd temperature-rising step determined by differential scanning calorimetry, the maximum endotherm peak temperature is≥30°C, and the ratio of the area given by a fraction melting up to a temperature 20°C lower than the maximum endotherm peak temperature to the area defined by the endotherm curve and its baseline is≤30%.
