PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for aligning tapes on a winding reel or a supply reel and piling them up, and a device therefor. SOLUTION: A tape is wound around a hub by receiving the tape between guide members. When winding of the tape around the hub is started and the tape floats on an air layer formed between the tape and a tape layer wound previously, the guide member guides one or both of tape fringes.
