PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension adjustment device of a travel belt capable of adjusting so that the tension applied to the travel belt stretched along the traveling track is uniformly pulled in the belt width direction and the torsion does not generated in the travel belt during traveling of the travel cart. SOLUTION: A connection member 13 of a tension adjustment mechanism 20 consists of an adjust bolt part 13a and a belt joint part 13c, the adjust bolt par 13a is disposed in parallel to the center line in the longitudinal direction of the travel belt, and the belt joint part 13c is connected to the one end of the adjust bolt part. Through-holes 14a, 14b are respectively formed on the end parts of the belt joint part 13c and the travel belt 3 at the position on the approximately central line in the longitudinal direction of the belt, and both members are connected with a single pivot pin. The only tension force on the approximately central line in the longitudinal direction of the tension force by the adjust bolt part 13a is applied to the travel belt, and the only tension uniform in the width direction is transmitted to the belt.
