PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly perform zigzag folding without causing folding error. SOLUTION: In this zigzag folding device having an intermediate folding device 6 and a cutting folding device 2, the intermediate folding device is composed of a shooter 24 folding a continuous paper running by swinging downward and stackers 26, 26a receiving a folding piece, pulling-out means 27a, 27b for pulling out the folding piece in the stacker downward are provided in lower parts of the stackers, and a folding habit device 5 giving folding habit alternately along folding perforations of the continuous paper is provided on the upstream side of the intermediate folding device.
