PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hall door fixing device capable of facilitating installation in a landing place hall and operation for fixing a hall door to an opening condition and fixing the hall door in the opening condition securely. SOLUTION: A storage recessed part 12 is provided in a hall sill 11 guiding opening and closing of the hall door 2, and an engaging member 13 engaging with the hall door 2 is pivoted on the hall sill 11 so as to swing freely. Since a rear face 13a of the engaging member 13 becomes flush with a surface of the hall sill 11 when stored in the storage recessed part 12, opening and closing of the hall door 2 can be smoothly guided. Since the engaging member 13 can be directly, easily, and manually operated, an operation mechanism is unnecessary, and the installation in the landing hall is easy.
