PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which makes easier and fraudulent altering of the setting impossible concerning the means for setting the probability of generating the special game states. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a setting altering control means which enables the altering of the setting for the probability of selecting the generation of the special game states in the lottery means under a plurality of stages and controls to alter the setting of the lottery means, a setting altering control validation means for validating the control for altering the setting in the setting altering control means and a clearing means having a clearing operation means which enables the clearing of the information pertaining to the games stored in a memory holding means even in the case of the interruption of the power source. The setting altering control validation means comprises a setting altering control demand operation means which demands to generate the setting altering control position as made by the setting altering control means. At the closing of the power source, when the clearing operation signal exists from the clearing operation means while the control signal for demanding the setting altering control position exists from the setting altering control demand operation means, the control for altering the setting by the setting altering control means is validated.
