PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for easily and forcedly releasing fish from a fishhook without seizing the fish. SOLUTION: This device comprises a fishline hooking member 2 installed on horizontal direction of the upward of a container 1 for storing fishes caught by bait fishing, and a fish releasing tool 3 engaging to the fishline and the fishline hooking member 2, wherein the fish releasing tool 3 is provided with a pair of hook sections on the end of a handle section to engage the fishline to the hooking member 2 by clamping from both sides of the fishline hooked on the hooking member, a concave portion formed between the hook sections to guide the fishline and support the base end of a fishhook, and a fish pushing section capable of advancing/retreating between the hook section. The fish releasing tool 3 regulates slippage of fishline 6 hooked on the fishline hooking member 2 and pushing the base end of the fishhook to face downward and functioning the fish pushing member to release the fish forcedly.
