PRESSURE SENSOR

A pressure sensor exhibiting stabilized sensitivity even under a high-temperature environment susceptible to a significant pressure variation and mechanical vibration while reducing the size. A diaphragm is provided at the front end part of a tubular body and a sensor section comprising a piezoelectric element disposed in the rear of the diaphragm can detects a pressure acting through the diaphragm. The sensor section comprises a pair of piezoelectric elements having an axial central hole and disposed to face each other at the same pole sides while sandwiching an electrode plate of conductive material with positive and negative electrodes being arranged in the thickness direction. One end of a lead pin is connected to the central part of the electrode plate and the other end side of the lead pin is passed through the opening of the piezoelectric element and the through hole of the body and led out to the rear end side of the body so that a charge signal occurring on the electrode surface of the piezoelectric element can be detected.
