PURPOSE: A full-automatic washing machine is provided to perform an agitation mode for rotating only a pulsator and a mutual reverse mode for rotating reverse the pulsator and a washing tub by increasing power output of a motor. CONSTITUTION: A full-automatic washing machine is composed of an outer tub disposed in an out case forming the external shape; a washing tub rotatably installed in the outer tub; a pulsator rotatably formed at the inner lower side of the washing tub; a dewatering shaft(100) for rotating the washing tub; a washing shaft(200) combined with the pulsator; a clutch housing for covering the dewatering shaft; a stator assembly(400) for generating rotational magnetic field; a rotor assembly(500) for generating a magnetic path and rotary power; a clutch assembly(600) having a sliding coupler(650) for controlling power transmission with sliding on the dewatering and washing shafts and a control unit for controlling motions of the sliding coupler; a projection(652) arranged on the upside of the sliding coupler and selectively connected to a combining hole formed at a stopper(660) of the clutch assembly; a drain valve for controlling water contained in the outer tub; a gear motor used for controlling a drive unit and a drain unit, interlocking and operating the drain valve and a brake lever, and operating the brake lever to first and second gear ranges; and a brake assembly(700) comprising a brake pad(780) and the brake lever for braking the rotation of the dewatering shaft. In a washing or rinsing process, the pulsator is rotated by rotating the rotor assembly covering the stator assembly and then the agitation mode is executed after fixing the dewatering shaft with the brake assembly to restrict the dewatering shaft from rotating reverse together with the pulsator by power transmission of a planetary gear(220). The washing process is performed by combining a washing tub rotation mode for releasing the brake assembly from the dewatering shaft in a pulsator agitating mode, transmitting rotary power of the rotor assembly through the planetary gear to the dewatering shaft, and rotating the dewatering shaft. |
