<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system which can print efficiently an image of a size, color, etc. desired by a user, by a simple operation and without an error. <P>SOLUTION: In this image forming system, image forming devices 101, 102 and 103 enabling execution of color printing and image forming devices 104 and 105 enabling execution of only monochrome printing are provided mixedly and connected to each other. Besides, hard disks 101a-105a are connected respectively to the image forming devices 101-105. Moreover, a personal computer 106 and a workstation 107 for controlling each image forming device are connected to the image forming device 101 through a hub 108.
