<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consumption behavior data collecting system for automatically collecting more minute data for analyzing consumer behavior by using technology related to a next generation article tag. <P>SOLUTION: The consumption behavior data collecting system is provided with a first tag reader which is installed in a house of a consumer monitor and reads tag data of the next generation article tag, a second tag reader which is installed in a garbage can of the house of the consumer monitor and reads tag data of the next generation article tag, an article data accumulation mean accumulating article data that the first tag reader and the second tag reader read with time data and a data transmission means transmitting article data accumulated in the article data accumulation means.
