<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a betting method that dispenses with repeated marking for specifying a common betting selection on other machine-readable mark sheets. <P>SOLUTION: The betting method, when a plurality of betting parameters are combined to specify arbitrary betting conditions allowed in a betting game, commands a ticket issuing device to issue a betting ticket based on the specified betting conditions, according to the reading of the betting conditions. First betting parameters specified in common through the issuance of a plurality of betting tickets are specified on a basic machine-readable betting mark sheet 100, and second betting parameters 200 specified selectively for the issuance of every betting ticket and combined with the first parameters to complete betting conditions are specified on an individual machine-readable betting mark sheet.
