<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a performance for precisely and quickly perform a measurement by preventing a small amount of sample liquid from leaking from the sample liquid supply path of a sensor and securing uniform, accurate solubility in a reaction layer. <P>SOLUTION: The reaction layer is provided in the sample liquid supply path that is formed between a substrate for forming an electrode system, and a cover member. The reaction layer provided on an electrode surface is limited into the sample liquid supply path so that no regions are sandwiched between a cover member and the substrate. For achieving this sort of structure, the shape of the reaction layer is limited by a plurality of small holes formed on the electrode surface. Additionally, instead of shape limitation by the small holes, dip and dipping positions of a reagent liquid for forming the reaction layer are optimized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
