<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid purifying method which subjects a fluid to be treated to sterilization/purification treatment uniformly and effectively, is simple in constitution and also easy in maintenance, and a fluid purifying apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The fluid purifying apparatus is equipped with a reaction vessel 32 provided on the way of piping 16 through which water 12 to be treated such as bath water flows and a transparent inner cylinder 34 provided inside the reaction vessel 32 so as to be concentric to the peripheral part of the reaction vessel 32 also used as an outer cylinder and having an inlet and an outlet respectively connected to the piping 16. This apparatus is further equipped with a large area material 30 of a photocatalyst provided in the inner cylinder 34 and also used as another electrode forming a pair along with one electrode, an air pump 38 being an oxygen supply means for supplying oxygen to the hermetically closed space between the outer cylinder and inner cylinder 34 of the reaction vessel 32 and a mixer 44 for mixing ozone, which is produced from oxygen passing through the space between the outer cylinder and inner cylinder 34 of the reaction vessel 32 by the discharge between the electrodes, with the fluid on the upstream side of the inner cylinder 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
